Papa ʻUkulele
ʻUkulele I
ʻUkulele I is an enttry level ʻukulele course. Students will learn strumming and picking techniques, how to read chord charts, music notation and some tablature. Students will learn to play Hawaiian, contemporary, and jazz, and a variety of music styles.

ʻUkulele IIʻUkulele II is an intermediate level ʻukulele course. Students will continue to learn picking, strumming, reading chord charts, tablature, and music theory. Students will develop performance and recording skills and will be given opportunities to perform in public.

Select ʻUkuleleSelect ʻUkulele is an advanced level ʻukulele course. Students will continue to learn picking, strumming, reading chord charts, tablature, and music theory. Students will develop performance and recording skills and will be given opportunities to perform in public. Students will also become mentors for those students in ʻUkulele I and II, helping to teach the various picking passages.

Throughout the year, we will study the following: 1) The Fret board, 2) Fingering, 3) Music Theory, 4) Chord Progressions, 5) Songs that incorporate both picking and strumming, and 6) Song Recording.
